10. Slacklining

In the 10th number of this list comes slacklining,

Slacklining is the act of walking, running, or balancing on a suspended length of rope which is tensioned between two anchors.

Slacklining is the play of rope walking and tightrope walking.

Slacklines vary from tightwires and tightropes in the sort of material and the measure of tension applied during use.

Slacklines are not tensioned as much as tightropes or tightwires. Due to this, it creates a stretch, just like a thin trampoline.

Tension can be changed with the accordance of the comfort of the player, and distinctive webbing might be utilized in various conditions.

In this game, there is always a chance of falling from the rope, which can give injuries.

There are many types of slacklining like Urbanlining, Tricklining, Highlining, Slackline yoga, Rodeo lines, Windling.

9. Cliff Diving

Cliff diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a cliff to the river.

Acrobats are done while doing cliff diving.

Cliff diving is a universally recognized sport. Moreover, unstructured and non-serious diving is a recreational pastime.

Here in this game, there are many chances of the person falling on a cliff. This can hurt the person.

Before playing this sport, the depth of the river should be checked otherwise the sportsman will fall on the sea ground and will get some injuries.

These factors make cliff diving one of the dangerous sports.

8. Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is a sport of riding bikes off-road, often on uneven ground, using specially designed mountain bikes.

Mountain bikes are similar to other bikes, however, they are built to ride on mountains and rough lands.

Injuries are a very common factor in mountain biking, more particularly in downhill biking, freeride, and dirt jumping.

Wounds can be minor injuries, like, cuts and scraped areas from falls on rock or different surfaces, to major wounds, like, broken bones, head or spinal wounds coming about because of impacts with rocks, trees, or the terrain being ridden on.

Defensive gear can protect the rider against minor wounds, but not from major injuries.

This makes mountain biking one of the very dangerous sports.

7. Abseiling.

Abseiling, called rappelling, is a controlled fall off a vertical drop, for example, a cliff, using a rope.

Abseiling can be dangerous, particularly to solo or unpracticed abseilers.

As indicated by German mountaineer Pit Schubert, about 25% of climbing deaths happen during abseiling.

An investigation of the American Alpine Club accident report shows that deaths in abseiling are caused due to the low quality of ropes.

The reason why abseiling is in our list of top 10 dangerous sports is because its risk factors are too high.

Abseiling is probably one of the most dangerous sports.

6. Paragliding

Paragliding is one of the most recreational and aggressive dangerous sports of flying paragliders.

Paragliders use lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched lightweight flyer aircraft with some flexible basic structure.

The pilot sits in a harness suspended under a fiber wing. The wing shape is kept up by the suspension lines.

Without not using a motor, a paraglider can flight numerous hours and travel a large number of kilometers.

By clever exploitation of wellsprings of lift, the pilot may pick up height, frequently moving to heights of two or three thousand meters.

Like any other sports, paragliding is also very risky.

Throughout the years in 1994−2010, seven out of 10,000 dynamic paraglider pilots have been lethally injured, however with an improvement lately.

In France (with more than 25,000 enrolled fliers), two of each 10,000 pilots were lethally injured in 2011, even though around six of each 1,000 pilots were truly harmed (over two-day emergency clinic remain).

These factors make parasailing one of the most dangerous sports.

5. Snowboarding

Snowboarding is a recreational sport.

In this sport, the person has to stand on a snowboard while descending a snow-covered slope.

Snowboarding is a recreation of sports like skiing, sledding, skateboarding, etc.

This sport is even included in the winter Olympics and Paralympics.

Over six thousand people are injured per day while playing snowboarding. This is about double the rate of alpine skiing.

People who suffer injuries are beginners, who do not take the lessons properly from their trainers. Experienced snowboarders are less likely to cause injuries.

Mostly, two-thirds of the injuries are caused in the upper body, which is very dangerous. Hence this makes it one of the most dangerous sports on this planet.

4. Scuba diving

Scuba diving is a mode of underwater diving where the diver uses portable underwater breathing equipment,  called scuba.

This equipment helps the person to breathe inside water. This equipment has oxygen mixed with air, called enriched air.

Scuba divers carry different breathing gas, typically compacted air, which gives them more freedom, and they can move anywhere they want.

Scuba diving has many dangers. The divers undergo special training before doing scuba diving.

This is another sport which probably is one of the riskiest and dangerous sport to date.

3. Bull riding

Bull riding is a sport that involves a player sitting on a bull's back, where the bull will try to get the player of it. To win, the player has to stay on top of the bull.

This sounds easy but is very difficult. Those bulls are very aggressive, and they will put their whole might to knock the player down. The player can be injured, and sometimes can die in this period of 8 seconds.

The 8 second period of this game is famous by the proverb"the most dangerous eight seconds in sports" in America.

I think I don't need to explain why this a dangerous sport.

2.  Bungee jumping

Bungee jumping is a sport in which a player jumps from a great height while being attached to a giant elastic chord.

The size of the chord is slightly less than the height from which the player jumps. This prevents any injury and gives the player a nerve chilling experience of jumping from great heights.

Although this game sounds fun, there are lots of risks. Many people have had heart attacks while playing this game, mostly old people. There can be failures of the chord, which will lead to death.

But do not worry, the deaths are very rare, somewhere like one in 50,000. But it doesn't mean that this game is completely safe.
